Tim Dunar
Tim Dunar has worked most of his professional career in the areas of marketing, market planning and organisational development.
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Masters Degree in Business Administration, Tim worked in the telecommunications industry for Wisconsin Bell/ Ameritech (now AT&T) in a wide range of marketing positions including market research, product management, market management, customer satisfaction, marketing communications, strategy development, channel management, and technology deployment driven by customer needs.
Leaving his Senior Director position at Ameritech, Tim formed his own consulting company working with his colleagues in a wide range of industries in all phases of marketing, organisational development and design, business strategy and planning systems.
Tim's experience includes:
- Directing market research for business and consumer markets at Ameritech. This work included numerous projects covering new technology needs, user interfaces and customer satisfaction. Tim also evaluated numerous studies for purchase by the company with commissioned and purchased research totalling over $2.5 US million dollars per year.
- Designing and implementing organisational design changes at Ameritech and TransCanada Pipelines. These changes were based on process analysis and were designed to maximize organisational efficiencies,
- Developing technology deployment heuristics (i.e. improving interfaces with technology) for Ameritech based on customer needs. The results of this work were presented at communications forums throughout the United States.
Based in the United States, Tim has consulted for clients around the world, including New Zealand.
