Dean Rea
Dean Rea is a Principal in and founding shareholder of Arrowhead Consulting Limited (Arrowhead).
Dean began his professional career lecturing in economics at the University of Waikato, before joining The New Zealand Treasury in early 1989 as an Economic and Financial Analyst. Between 1994 and 1997 Dean was The Treasury's Manager, Commercial Relations. During his time with The Treasury Dean advised Ministers on a range of regulatory, public policy and commercial matters in the areas of tax administration, financial management, privatisation, and liability management.
In 1997 Dean left The Treasury to provide consultancy services to senior executives in both the private and public sector. Since 1997 Dean has established an impressive track record as an advisor to senior executives in New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom and to senior government Ministers, applying his skills in the fields of strategic management, finance, public policy, and commercial dispute resolution.

Dean is a Chartered Accountant and has been a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1996.
